In the Beginning | Bible Art Project Week 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Original Instructions<\/span><\/a> Each day before starting that days bible passages review the bible passages previously learned and illustrated and answer any questions asked. Review each piece of work with the corresponding bible verse. Ask your child questions and give them lots of positive feedback. As you get further along, it might become time consuming to review each passage, but you can pick and choose each day depending on how you want to focus your child\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Start this project by reviewing, reading and discussing the bible passage each day with your child. If your child is old enough have him read the scripture from his bible. If your child is not reading, read the scripture from the bible to him. Be sure to ask your child if they have any questions. You can work this into a bible study and give your child any background information needed to explain. Passages are from the Holy Bible NIV. Day 6 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. <\/sup>And the Lord God commanded the man, \u201cYou are free to eat from any tree in the garden; <\/sup>but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Day 7 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. <\/sup>The man said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is now bone of my bones Day 8 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, \u201cDid God really say, \u2018You must not eat from any tree in the garden\u2019?\u201d Day 9 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. <\/sup>After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Day 10 <\/sup>…Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. <\/sup>In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering\u2014fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, <\/sup>but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. The woman said to the serpent, \u201cWe may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, <\/sup>but God did say, \u2018You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.\u2019\u201d
<\/sup>\u201cYou will not certainly die,\u201d the serpent said to the woman. <\/sup>\u201cFor God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.\u201d
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
