Review each piece of work with the corresponding bible verse. Ask your child questions and give them lots of positive feedback. As you get further along, it might become time consuming to review each passage, but you can pick and choose each day depending on how you want to focus your child\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Start this project by reviewing, reading and discussing the bible passage each day with your child. If your child is old enough have him read the scripture from his bible. If your child is not reading, read the scripture from the bible to him. Be sure to ask your child if they have any questions. You can work this into a bible study and give your child any background information needed to explain. Passages are from the Holy Bible NIV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><strong>Day 16<br>Genesis 17: 1-8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">When Abram was ninety-nine years old,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;appeared to him&nbsp;and said, \u201cI am God Almighty;&nbsp;walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you&nbsp;and will greatly increase your numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>Abram fell facedown,&nbsp;and God said to him,&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cAs for me, this is my covenant with you:&nbsp;You will be the father of many nations.&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham,&nbsp;for I have made you a father of many nations.&nbsp;I will make you very fruitful;&nbsp;I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.&nbsp;I will establish my covenant&nbsp;as an everlasting covenant&nbsp;between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God&nbsp;and the God of your descendants after you.&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>The whole land of Canaan,&nbsp;where you now reside as a foreigner,&nbsp;I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you;&nbsp;and I will be their God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><strong>Day 17<br>Genesis 25 7-11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years.&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,&nbsp;an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.&nbsp;His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him&nbsp;in the cave of Machpelah&nbsp;near Mamre,&nbsp;in the field of Ephron&nbsp;son of Zohar the Hittite,&nbsp;the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.&nbsp;There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>After Abraham\u2019s death, God blessed his son Isaac,&nbsp;who then lived near Beer Lahai Roi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><strong>Day 18<br>Genesis 37: 2-11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><br>&#8230;Joseph,&nbsp;a young man of seventeen,&nbsp;was tending the flocks&nbsp;with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah&nbsp;and the sons of Zilpah,&nbsp;his father\u2019s wives, and he brought their father a bad report&nbsp;about them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Now Israel&nbsp;loved Joseph more than any of his other sons,&nbsp;because he had been born to him in his old age;&nbsp;and he made an ornate<sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Genesis%2037&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-1087a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup>&nbsp;robe&nbsp;for him.&nbsp;<sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup>When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him&nbsp;and could not speak a kind word to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Joseph had a dream,&nbsp;and when he told it to his brothers,&nbsp;they hated him all the more.&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>He said to them, \u201cListen to this dream I had:&nbsp;We were binding sheaves&nbsp;of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>His brothers said to him, \u201cDo you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?\u201d&nbsp;And they hated him all the more&nbsp;because of his dream and what he had said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>Then he had another dream,&nbsp;and he told it to his brothers. \u201cListen,\u201d he said, \u201cI had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars&nbsp;were bowing down to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>When he told his father as well as his brothers,&nbsp;his father rebuked&nbsp;him and said, \u201cWhat is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?\u201d&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>His brothers were jealous of him,&nbsp;but his father kept the matter in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><strong>Day 19<br>Genesis 37: 23-28<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">&#8230;when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe\u2014the ornate robe&nbsp;he was wearing\u2014&nbsp;and they took him and threw him into the cistern.&nbsp;The cistern was empty; there was no water in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">As they sat down to eat their meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites&nbsp;coming from Gilead.&nbsp;Their camels were loaded with spices, balm&nbsp;and myrrh,&nbsp;and they were on their way to take them down to Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Judah&nbsp;said to his brothers, \u201cWhat will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood?&nbsp;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>Come, let\u2019s sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him; after all, he is our brother,&nbsp;our own flesh and blood.\u201d His brothers agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><sup> <\/sup>When the Midianite&nbsp;merchants came by, his brothers pulled Joseph up out of the cistern&nbsp;and sold&nbsp;him for twenty shekels&nbsp;of silver&nbsp;to the Ishmaelites,&nbsp;who took him to Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><strong>Day 20<br>Genesis 39:1-6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Now Joseph&nbsp;had been taken down to Egypt. Potiphar, an Egyptian who was one of Pharaoh\u2019s officials, the captain of the guard,&nbsp;bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">The&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;was with Joseph&nbsp;so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.&nbsp;<sup> <\/sup>When his master saw that the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;was with him&nbsp;and that the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;gave him success in everything he did,&nbsp;<sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup>Joseph found favor in his eyes&nbsp;and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household,&nbsp;and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.&nbsp;<sup>5&nbsp;<\/sup>From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;blessed the household&nbsp;of the Egyptian because of Joseph.&nbsp;The blessing of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.&nbsp;<sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup>So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph\u2019s care;&nbsp;with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In The Beginning | Bible Art Project | Week 4 IntroductionWeek 1Week 2Week 3Week 5 Each day before starting that days bible passages review the bible passages previously learned and illustrated and answer any questions asked.
