Five Day Bible Art Project | Thankfulness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is right and good to give thanks and praise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This bible art project is a bit different from our other published bible art projects. In our other projects your child creates a piece of art reflecting the bible verse. In this project the child will create a piece of art reflecting one of the Lord’s blessings that your child is grateful for, such as, family, pets, toys etc.

Each day start your project with praying with your children. Next review bible verses and art work from previous days. Ask your child questions about their artwork and give them lots of positive feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before reading the bible verse ask your child, “What are some blessings that God has given you that you are thankful to have received?” Give your child any prompting they may need, such as, “I am thankful for our warm home.” or “I am thankful for you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next read the bible verse or have older children read the bible verse.
Set any materials or supplies in front of them and allow them to work independently to create a masterpiece depicting what blessing they are thankful for receiving.

Once your child has completed their biblical masterpiece ask them to explain their masterpiece. Be sure to give them good positive feedback. Before cleaning up pray with your children and have each child include a prayer of gratitude for a blessing from the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1: Ezra 3:11<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:
\u201cHe is good; his love toward Israel endures forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: Psalm 7:17<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;  I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3: Psalm 9:1<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 4: Psalm 35:18<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I will give you thanks in the great assembly;  among the throngs I will praise you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 5: Psalm 107:21-22<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
