You will need:
A quart mason jar with a split type lid
Ribbon
Square of fabric for each jar
The below baking ingredients
Ingredients
All Purpose Flour: 1 3\/4 cups
Baking Soda: 3\/4 teaspoon
Salt: 3\/4 teaspoon
Chocolate Chips: 1 1\/2 cups
Packed Brown Sugar: 3\/4 cup
Granulated Sugar: 1\/2 cup

Directions:
Mix flour, salt, baking soda and sugar together in a medium bowl. Once mixed add flour mixture to the mason jar. Next layer in brown sugar followed by Chocolate Chips.
Cut a square piece of fabric long enough to cover the top of the mason jar. Place fabric on tope of the lid before the ring. Put ring over fabric. Next cut and paste the below recipe into Word and print. Attach recipe to jar with ribbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cookie Directions to add to jar:
Mix jar ingredients in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl mix in 3\/4 cup softened butter, a large egg and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Once blended combine the two bowls mixing until all ingredients are well blended. Back for 9 minutes in a preheated oven at 375′. Makes about two dozen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
